Spring is here!

The temperature is already getting up to the high 70s and low 80s, flowers are blooming everywhere and there’s lots of fruit at the markets. Just last week I started noticing peaches and melons everywhere. And the good thing is that fruit is quite cheap. You can buy a pound of strawberries for roughly $.70 and a pound of apricots for only $.35. Great time of year to be here!

First Birthday

I went to my friend’s son’s first birthday party on Saturday. A lot of people here throw a big party for the first birthday but only do small parties for the following years. It was a pretty lively event. The pictures should speak for themselves!
